1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for membership, participating in training, competitions, or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Membership and Registration
2.1 Eligibility
- Membership is open to individuals of all ages and skill levels
- Minors (under 18) require parental or guardian consent
- Medical clearance may be required for participation
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
2.2 Membership Responsibilities
- Pay all applicable fees and dues on time
- Follow the ITF Taekwon-Do code of conduct
- Respect instructors, fellow students, and facility rules
- Maintain appropriate training attire and equipment
3. Training and Instruction
3.1 Training Participation
- Regular attendance is expected for skill development
- Students must follow safety guidelines and instructor directions
- Inappropriate behavior may result in suspension or termination
- Make-up classes are subject to instructor availability
3.2 Ranking and Certification
- Rankings are awarded based on ITF standards and requirements
- Testing fees are separate from membership dues
- Certificates are issued through official ITF channels
- Rank advancement requires demonstration of technical and character development
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Payment Terms
- Membership fees are due as specified in your registration
- Late payments may result in suspension of training privileges
- Additional fees apply for testing, competitions, and special events
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
4.2 Cancellation Policy
- Written notice is required for membership cancellation
- Refunds for unused portions may be available per our refund policy
- Outstanding balances must be settled upon cancellation
5. Safety and Liability
5.1 Assumption of Risk
Taekwon-Do training involves physical activity and inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks, including but not limited to:
- Physical injury from training activities
- Contact with other participants
- Equipment-related incidents
- Facility-related hazards
5.2 Medical Conditions
- Disclose any relevant medical conditions or injuries
- Obtain medical clearance if required
- Inform instructors of any limitations or concerns
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
6. Code of Conduct
All members must adhere to the ITF Taekwon-Do tenets:
- Courtesy (Ye Ui): Showing respect and politeness to all
- Integrity (Yom Chi): Being honest and having strong moral principles
- Perseverance (In Nae): Continuing despite difficulties
- Self-Control (Guk Gi): Restraint and discipline in actions
- Indomitable Spirit (Baekjul Boolgool): Unconquerable determination
7. Competitions and Events
- Competition participation requires current membership and appropriate rank
- Additional fees and insurance may be required
- Travel arrangements and accommodations are participant’s responsibility
- Competition rules and regulations must be followed
8. Intellectual Property
- ITF Taekwon-Do techniques and patterns are protected intellectual property
- Unauthorized teaching or commercialization is prohibited
- Website content and materials are protected by copyright
- Photography and video recording require consent
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We may use information for:
- Membership management and communication
- Safety and emergency contacts
- Competition registration and results
- ITF certification and ranking records
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nepal Taekwon-Do Confederation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our programs or use of our services.
11. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes should first be addressed through direct communication
- Formal complaints may be submitted in writing
- Mediation will be attempted before legal action
- Nepalese law governs these terms
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate membership for:
- Violation of these terms or code of conduct
- Non-payment of fees
- Behavior that endangers others or disrupts training
- Failure to meet membership requirements
13. Changes to Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
